MAHAYAG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 10,
2018) – Two were died in Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at the
National Highway of Purok 5, Barangay Kaangayan, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur
about 11:00 AM of June 10, 2018.
The accident involving two vehicles to
wit:
a)
one (1) single motorcycle XRM 110 color
blue/black, driven by
Odjet T Mabisa, 22 years old, with live-in partner, farmer with
two (2) back riders: Rebecca Gusi Bilog, 19 years old, with live-in partner and
Daday Bilog, 18 years old, single, student, all were a residents of Purok 5,
Barangay La Fortuna, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur; and
b)
One (1) Isuzu Forward Truck color white
bearing plate number GJM 367, loaded with sacks of rice grain and driven by
Romeo Nobleza Tizon, 49 years old, married, driver by occupation, a resident of
Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
Upon receipt of said report, PNP
elements of Mahayag MPS immediately proceeded to the place of incident verify
the veracity of said report. Upon arrival of the place of incident, the
responding team saw two (2) personalities lying lifeless at the place of
incident bathed with their own blood.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that, at around 11:00 AM of same date, while the single motorcycle
with two (2) back riders were traversing from Dumingag, heading to Molave, and
upon reaching at the place of incident, said single motorcycle accidentally
hit/bumped a vehicle (multi-cab) from behind who was right in front of them in
same direction.
As a result, the motorcycle crashed
down while the said driver and back rider Rebecca Bilog fell on the opposite of
the road and both their heads were ran over by the approaching truck that was
also traversing on the opposite side of the road that led to their untimely
death.
While the other back rider sustained
injuries on the different parts of his body and was immediately rushed to
Mahayag Municipal Hospital located at Barangay San Vicente, Mahayag.
The two (2) dead bodies of driver and
the back rider were also brought to the said hospital by the driver of the
multi-cab.
The driver and his driven vehicle of
said truck was brought to Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.
